How to stop ads on Instagram
- Go to Facebook.com – Note this has to be in a web browser, not an app.
- Go to your Settings
- Click Ads in the menu on the left
- Click “Can you see online interest-based ads from Facebook?” next to the first option, “Ads based on my use of websites and apps”.
- Click the button that says “On”. This is directly under the text “Show online interest-based ads:”
- Click Off from the options provided. This will not reduce the ads you see, but it will make them less relevant.
